In 2009, we set out to build a personnel carrier for use in underground mining.  We wanted the vehicle to be more robust than anything in the marketplace while providing safety and comfort for all occupants.  The vehicle was the EDV5.  A five passenger vehicle quickly evolved into an eight passenger, then a fourteen passenger vehicle with the addition of the external personnel module.  We also created a service vehicle complete with crane and onboard pressure washer, a flat bed version for carrying large loads and a narrow version for use in hard rock mining.

As time went on, we recognized the need in our lineup for a lighter vehicle, so in 2017 we created a lighter duty version of the EDV.  Based upon a classic design, our EDV "S" series comes in a five passenger configuration and has unique features to this category of vehicle such as an air-cooled engine and three speed manual transmission..
